Product Description
This type of kiln features two support types: rolling and sliding. The drive can utilize DC or AC variable frequency speed regulation, and various seal types are available to accommodate different operating conditions. The company can design custom kilns to meet specific customer requirements. The rotary kiln consists of a cylinder, a transmission mechanism, support and retaining wheel systems, a kiln tail seal, an external jacket, a combustion system, a hot air duct system, and a kiln head hood. The kiln barrel is the heated, rotating component, constructed from high-quality carbon steel sheets welded together. It is supported on a support structure by wheel tyres, and mechanical or hydraulic stoppers are installed on one or more of the support structures to control axial movement. A transmission mechanism, via a ring gear located in the centre of the barrel, rotates the barrel at the required speed for the process. For installation and maintenance purposes, larger kilns are equipped with an auxiliary transmission that allows the barrel to rotate at a very low speed. To prevent cold air from entering and flue gas and dust from escaping the barrel, reliable sealing devices are installed at the inlet and outlet ends of the barrel. To ensure efficient external heating, special air ducts are installed within the jacket to ensure thermal efficiency and precise temperature control. Special anti-sticking devices are installed on the outer and inner walls of the barrel to ensure smooth material flow.
