Disc Pelletizer

The disc pelletizer is a new type of tilted disc pelletizing equipment. Its frame is welded from high-quality carbon channel steel, while the pelletizing disc is welded from high-quality carbon steel plates and channel steel, treated with other anti-corrosion treatments. The bottom is reinforced with multiple radial steel strips. The pelletizing rate can reach over 92%. The entire machine's transmission system is of paramount importance, ensuring its overall operation. The motor and reducer mounted on the drive adjustment frame are ISO/9001 certified. The motor drives the pulley, V-belt, reducer, and pinion, which in turn drives the large gear on the pelletizing disc to operate. Both large and small gears utilize high-frequency quenching, doubling their service life. The entire pelletizing disc is fixed to the drive shaft on the adjustment disc, with a taper-fit connection at the column head for a more streamlined design. The automatic material removal system, mounted above the pelletizing disc in a lower frame, is equipped with an automatic material removal plate to remove material adhering to the disc wall during production, significantly extending the machine's service life while saving labor.

  • During operation, the Disc Pelletizer is driven by a main motor, which drives a pulley and belt. This, in turn, is driven through a reducer and a pinion gear. The pinion gear meshes with a large gear fixed to the bottom of the disc, rotating it in an upward direction. The large gear, through a rational design, is mounted on a main shaft fixed to the frame's adjustment plate, supporting the entire disc (this machine is used in conjunction with a sprayer). After material enters the disc, its continuous rotation and spraying mechanism evenly blend the material into spherical particles. An automatic material cleaning device is designed into the upper center of the disc to prevent material from sticking to the wall, significantly extending the machine's service life. The continuous rotation of the motor and the continuous entry of material enable batch production, ensuring continuous operation.

    The Disc Pelletizer is available in a variety of models, tailored to your production needs and customizable to your specifications. It is primarily suitable for both cold and hot pelletizing processes and is particularly suitable for light, fine-powdered materials such as turfgrass, sludge, and fermented biomass.
