READ MORERotary coolers are used in compound fertilizer production to cool fertilizer pellets at a certain temperature. Used in conjunction with a dryer, rotary coolers significantly increase cooling speed, reduce labor intensity, increase yield, further remove moisture, and lower the pellet temperature of compound fertilizer.
Structural Principle:
The rotary cooler operates with air and material flows in opposite directions. Material enters the machine from the top, passes through the heating and drying sections, and then exits evenly from the bottom. Cooling air enters from the bottom to first cool the material before exiting. It then heats the material and exchanges heat and mass with it, absorbing moisture from the material before passing through the material layers and exiting through the top outlet. This ensures that the machine not only cools the material but also enhances the heating and drying process. This capability is not available in currently used vertical and counterflow coolers.
Technical Advantages:
The rotary cooler can also be used to cool other powdered and granular materials. The equipment offers a compact structure, high cooling efficiency, reliable performance, and strong adaptability.
