READ MOREOur kaolin rotary kilns are available in eleven models based on cylinder dimensions, ranging from Ø1.6×32m to Ø4×80m. Cylinder diameters 2.2m and above are equipped with auxiliary transmissions, while cylinder diameters 3.0m and above are equipped with four support systems, instead of three. The kiln speed ranges from 0.58-2.85 rpm, with an inclination of 3.5-4.0%. The kiln motor power ranges from 18.5kW to 355kW, meeting the calcination needs of kaolin products with an output of 2-20 tons per hour.
Applications
Suitable for paint and coatings, papermaking, rubber and plastic products, cables, ceramics, and other industries.
Product Introduction
Kaolin boasts high whiteness, soft texture, and ease of dispersion and suspension in water. It also possesses excellent plasticity, high adhesion, superior electrical insulation, good acid solubility, low cation exchange capacity, and good fire resistance. As a result, the development of kaolin has intensified, and the role of kaolin cannot be ignored. The kaolin rotary kiln is a key piece of equipment for kaolin production.
Highlights
● The kaolin rotary kiln features a simple external structure and a rational internal design, making it easy to install, operate, and maintain.
● The kiln drum operates very evenly, resulting in low heat loss and a low failure rate.
● The kiln is sealed effectively, reducing dust escape and pollution.
● The equipment is equipped with an automatic cooling device, which improves material recovery and increases production.
Operating Principle
When the kaolin rotary kiln begins operation, the kaolin raw material enters the drum from the kiln tail through the preheater. Due to the drum's tilted installation and slow rotation, the kaolin material undergoes a complex motion, both tumbling in a circular direction and moving axially from the higher end to the lower end. The kaolin material is decomposed and calcined within the kiln, and the clinker is discharged from the kiln head (lower end) and enters the cooler.
