READ MOREThe LS-Type screw conveyor is an upgraded version of the GX-Type screw conveyor. LS screw conveyors are categorized by whether or not they have a central shaft: shafted screw conveyors and shaftless screw conveyors. A shafted screw conveyor consists of a screw, a U-shaped trough cover, an inlet and outlet, and a drive unit. A shaftless screw conveyor replaces the screw with a shaftless screw. The U-shaped trough has a replaceable liner, resulting in a simpler structure. Material enters through the inlet and is pushed by the screw through the outlet. The entire conveying process occurs within a sealed trough, reducing noise and odor emissions.
The head and tail bearings of the LS-Type screw conveyor are relocated outside the casing. The hanging bearings use sliding bearings and lack dust seals. The bearings are generally made of powder metallurgy. Felt bearings are used for cement conveying. The hanging shaft and screw shaft are connected by sliders. The screw can be disassembled without moving the drive unit, and the hanging bearings can be disassembled without moving the screw. The hanging bearings can be lubricated without removing the cover.
