Screw Conveyor

Our company's screw conveyor products are divided into two series: the tubular GX and the trough LS. The GX series offers seven models with a conveying capacity of 0.9-255.9 m³/h; the trough screw conveyor offers 12 models with a conveying capacity of 1-520.5 m³/h. These conveyors can meet the diverse conveying requirements of a variety of powdery, granular, and small, non-sticky materials.

    Product Introduction

    Screw conveyors feature a compact structure, small cross-sectional area, light weight, excellent sealing performance, high conveying efficiency, flexible process layout, easy assembly, disassembly, and relocation, and safe operation. They are suitable for conveying a variety of powdery, granular, and small, bulk materials, such as clay powder, coal powder, cement, sand, grain, small coal lumps, pebbles, and cast iron shavings. They are not suitable for conveying highly viscous, easily agglomerated, or easily deteriorated materials. Screw conveyors can be installed horizontally or inclined. It can be used in conjunction with other conveying devices to perform tasks such as collection, distribution, mixing, blending, dehydration, and unloading.

    Operating Principle
    When material is added to the fixed trough from the feed port, the combined effects of gravity and friction between the material and the trough cause the material accumulated in the lower part of the trough to move forward without rotating with the spiral blades until it is discharged from the discharge port, thus achieving material conveying.

  • LS Type Screw Conveyor LS Type Screw Conveyor
    The LS-Type screw conveyor is an upgraded version of the GX-Type screw conveyor. LS screw conveyors are categorized by whether or not they have a central shaft: shafted screw conveyors and shaftless screw conveyors. A shafted screw conveyor consists of a screw, a U-shaped trough cover, an inlet and outlet, and a drive unit. A shaftless screw conveyor replaces the screw with a shaftless screw. The U-shaped trough has a replaceable liner, resulting in a simpler structure. Material enters through the inlet and is pushed by the screw through the outlet. The entire conveying process occurs within a sealed trough, reducing noise and odor emissions.

    A submerged scraper conveyor is a continuous conveying device that transports bulk materials such as dust, small particles, and small lumps within a closed rectangular cross-section housing using a moving scraper chain. Because the scraper chain is completely submerged in the material during conveying, it is called a "submerged scraper conveyor." The material exhibits characteristics such as internal friction and lateral pressure. During horizontal transport, the material is pushed by the scraper chain in the direction of motion, squeezing it. Due to its own weight, internal friction is generated within the material, maintaining a stable layer of material. When this internal friction exceeds the external friction between the material and the trough wall, the material forms a continuous, integrated flow, conveyed forward by the scraper chain.
