Single drum coolers cool high-temperature materials through the rotation of the drum, creating a sufficient heat exchange between the material and the cool air. Operating Principle
Material enters the cooler through the feed mechanism. As the cooler rotates, the lift plates within the cooler promote efficient heat exchange between the material and the air. Simultaneously, as the drum rotates at the designed incline and speed, the material periodically tumbles forward within the drum, transporting the material from the feed end to the discharge end. This ensures that the material is cooled to below 200°C during its passage through the single drum cooler, completing the entire cooling process.
