Product Introduction
The drum granulator is a highly efficient powder granulation equipment available in a variety of sizes to suit different production needs. Drum dimensions typically range from Φ1x6m to Φ2.0x20m, with a controlled speed of 3-5 r/min, a slope of approximately 3-3.5%, and a matching motor power of 5.5-30kW. The drum granulator primarily consists of a base frame, drum, transmission, support rollers, and connecting shafts. Its structure is sturdy and durable, and it's easy to operate and maintain.
Highlights
● High pelletizing rate, low power consumption
● Stable operation, simple operation
● Sturdy and durable, easy to operate and maintain
Operating Principle
A drum granulator is a type of granulation equipment that uses a rotating drum to form mixed materials into pellets. It is widely used in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, and chemicals. The drum granulator consists of a base frame, drum, transmission, support rollers, and connecting shafts. During operation, a reduction motor drives a sprocket to rotate the support rollers. Frictionally, the support rollers drive the inclined drum at a low speed. Due to friction and centrifugal force, the mixed material rises a certain height along the drum wall, then rolls down under the influence of gravity. The descending material and the ascending material create relative motion, rolling into balls. The balls roll circumferentially while moving along the drum axis from the upper end to the lower end, where they are discharged.
